1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how the Mistri Calculator mobile application ("the App", "we", "us") handles information. All calculations in the App work offline; an internet connection is used by advertising and consent services. We do not operate an app-account service or collect your calculations on our own servers. Advertising and consent services may process data as described below. This policy describes those practices; it does not replace any consent that is required.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

The App does not collect, store on our servers, or ask you for any of the following:

  • Name, email address, or phone number
  • Login or account details (there is no sign-up or login)
  • Contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera, or precise GPS location
  • Payment or bank information

Material rates, language/unit/theme preferences, brick dimensions, project names, saved calculation items and local usage counters are stored in local app storage (using local storage). We do not upload them to our own servers. Android backup or device-transfer features may copy app data according to your device and Google account settings. You may also deliberately share an estimate through another app.

3. Information Collected by Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, the AdMob SDK may collect and process limited data, including:

  • Device identifiers, including your device's Advertising ID where available, and app set ID
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address (for ad relevance)
  • App/ad interactions and device/diagnostic information, such as launches, taps and performance information

These services use data for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention and related security purposes. Data is handled by Google and relevant advertising partners under their applicable policies. Please review: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from partner apps/sites.

You can reset or limit ad tracking at any time via your device settings: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Reset/Delete advertising ID.

4. Permissions Used

  • INTERNET — used by advertising and consent services. Advertising SDKs also add network-state and advertising-related permissions to the merged Android manifest. The calculators themselves work fully offline.

The App requests no other sensitive permissions (no location, camera, microphone, contacts, or storage-of-personal-files permissions).

5. In-App Review

The App may occasionally ask you to rate it using Google Play's in-app review feature. This is handled by Google Play and does not share any personal data with us.

6. Sharing Results

When you tap "Share", the App lets you send a calculation summary (plain text) to an app you choose (e.g., WhatsApp). You control what is shared and with whom; we do not collect or store this content.

7. Data Retention & Security

We do not retain your calculation or project data on our own servers. Local data stays in app storage on your device. Delete saved projects in the app or clear app data through Android settings to remove local entries. Android backups and copies shared through other apps are controlled separately through those services. Advertising data retention is governed by Google and relevant partners; resetting an advertising ID does not guarantee deletion of previously processed data. For privacy requests, contact us below. Data transmitted by the AdMob SDK is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

8. Children's Privacy

The App is a construction estimation tool intended for adult users aged 18 and over (masons, contractors, and home builders). It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Privacy choices

Where required, Google User Messaging Platform presents privacy messages before ads are requested. If applicable, an Ad privacy options entry in Settings lets you review or change your choices. Calculations remain available without ads or an internet connection.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Where required, we will provide notice and request consent separately.
