1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how the Mistri Calculator mobile application ("the App", "we", "us") handles information. The App is a 100% offline construction material calculator. We respect your privacy and do not collect personal information. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

The App does not collect, store on our servers, or ask you for any of the following:

  • Name, email address, or phone number
  • Login or account details (there is no sign-up or login)
  • Contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera, or precise GPS location
  • Payment or bank information

Any material rates or language/unit preferences you enter are stored only on your device (using local storage) and are never transmitted to us or any third party.

3. Information Collected by Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, the AdMob SDK may collect and process limited data, including:

  • Your device's Advertising ID (a resettable identifier)
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address (for ad relevance)
  • Ad interaction and device/diagnostic information

This data is handled by Google under its own privacy policy. Please review: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from partner apps/sites.

You can reset or limit ad tracking at any time via your device settings: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Reset/Delete advertising ID.

4. Permissions Used

  • INTERNET — used only to load advertisements. The calculators themselves work fully offline.

The App requests no other sensitive permissions (no location, camera, microphone, contacts, or storage-of-personal-files permissions).

5. In-App Review

The App may occasionally ask you to rate it using Google Play's in-app review feature. This is handled by Google Play and does not share any personal data with us.

6. Sharing Results

When you tap "Share", the App lets you send a calculation summary (plain text) to an app you choose (e.g., WhatsApp). You control what is shared and with whom; we do not collect or store this content.

7. Data Retention & Security

Because we do not collect personal data, we do not retain any on our side. Data you enter stays on your device and is removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall it. Data transmitted by the AdMob SDK is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

8. Children's Privacy

The App is a general-purpose tool intended for adult users (masons, contractors, and home builders). It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
